“Freedom to differ is not limited to things that do not matter much. That would be a mere shadow of freedom. The test of its substance is the right to differ as to things that touch the heart of the existing order."
- Justice Robert H. Jackson
I spent around 10 years travelling the Rocky Mountain Region for my day job but doing nature photography, wildlife photography, and documenting every day life in small towns -- selling my work at craft shows on the weekends (back in the old'n days when people actually bought physical, framed photos). I took a hiatus of 10 (ish) years to focus on my corporate career and am just now getting back to my true passion. Of course everything is digital these days, so as I get time, I will get more of my old work transferred to a digital medium and share those with you as well. Thank you for visiting. xo Jennifer
The world is filled with natural beauty and incredible people. I use my camera to document that world and share it with others....If a photographer's soul is defined by what they choose to shoot....this site is a small view into mine
Every photo should tell a story or evoke an emotion....it should transport the viewer to that very moment in time. I strive, sometimes successfully, sometimes much less so, to find that "right" moment...that "right " shot...which tells a story, connects the viewer and fuels the imagination.
Nature has always been, and always will be, the ultimate creator of real beauty. Beauty in nature, people or things cannot be quantified, invented, manipulated or improved upon. In spite of...or perhaps because of....it's inherent imperfections, nature is always perfect. It is our differences that make us unique and special; and that should be celebrated. and captured, and shared.
